Film Series: Pipeline Pioneers to Debut in Anchorage

A new film series from Consumer Energy Alliance and the Alaska Support Industry Alliance will debut in Anchorage on August 12th. The series examines the stories of 5 “Pipeline Pioneers” and their individual stories of helping to construct the nation’s most important working landmark.

2015 marks the 40th anniversary of the start of construction on the Trans-Alaska Pipeline.

“We really wanted to showcase the importance of TAPS and we thought the best way to communicate that was to tell the stories of the individuals who built the line,” said Anne Seneca, President of Consumer Energy Alliance- Alaska.

The film series debuts at the Awaken Theater in Anchorage and will also be premiered in Washington D.C. early in the fall.
